Great-West Healthcare and HCA East Florida Division agree to contract extension

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Oct. 23, 2006 – Great-West Healthcare, a national employee benefits provider, today announced it has signed a contract with the HCA East Florida Division (HCA) to extend its relationship with HCA’s 13 hospitals and affiliated surgical and diagnostic centers to provide in-network health care services to members.

The agreement provides Great-West Healthcare members with continued access to HCA inpatient and outpatient hospital services such as comprehensive cardiac services, cancer care, emergency care, obstetrics, orthopedics and outpatient ancillaries.

"Great-West Healthcare has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with HCA in both the South Florida and Treasure Coast market, and we believe this new contract will benefit our members,” said Steve White, Southeast region president, Great-West Healthcare. “We are pleased to continue offering our members a wide choice of quality physicians and hospitals, enabling them to receive services at HCA facilities at discounted, in-network rates.”
