Great-West Healthcare offers the following traditional benefit plans:
Open Access Plan
With the Great-West Healthcare Open Access plan, members get the best of both worlds — relationship-building and choice. Open Access encourages them to build a relationship with an in-network Primary Care Provider (PCP) from which they can obtain most services and guidance in all aspects of health care. Each covered family member may select a different PCP.
Point of Service (POS)
With the Great-West Healthcare Point of Service (POS) plan, members are required to select an in-network Primary Care Physician (PCP). The PCP coordinates care and provides preventive and most medical services. PCPs can also direct members to specialists and hospitals within our network. Each member of the family may select a different PCP.
