Dental Coverage:
Point-of-Service Dental Plan (POS)
The POS Dental Plan provides coverage for a range of preventive, basic and major dental services. This plan offers two levels of benefits for covered services: high-level, when care is provided by a network dentist, and low-level, when a non-network dentist provides treatment.
Dental+ (Porcelain) and Dental+ (Gold)
Great-West Healthcare's Dental+ Plans offer comprehensive care, low out-of-pocket costs and convenient service. The plans cover a range of services with preset copays so members know up front how much they’ll pay. This plan covers most preventive services, including routine exams and cleanings, at no cost to members.
Dental Indemnity
The Dental Indemnity plan offers three levels of comprehensive care:
- Preventative care
- Basic services
- Major services
The plan design is flexible through deductibles, coinsurance, coverage options and various funding arrangements that meet both member and employer needs.
Connection Dental
Members enrolled in Connection Dental have the freedom to choose any dentist, regardless of whether the dentist is participating in the program. There are more than 19,000 participating dentist nationwide that offer members significant out-of-pocket savings over non-participating dentists.
Vision Coverage:
Great-West Healthcare offers vision care coverage through Vision Service Plan (VSP). When selecting a VSP participating doctor, plan members save money while receiving fast, direct access to important vision care. Our vision program includes coverage for eyeglasses, contacts and vision exams at provider locations nationwide.
