Redesigned Great-West Healthcare Web site better assists brokers and employers
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Sept. 12, 2006 – Great-West Healthcare, a national employee
benefits provider, recently launched its redesigned Web site, greatwesthealthcare.com, making
improvements in appearance, navigation and content. The new site showcases the key
components of consumer-driven health care (CDHC) and highlights why companies have
benefited by making the shift. Employers can use the interactive CDHC readiness survey to
gauge their willingness to adopt a CDHC plan and determine which best meets their needs.
Since Great-West Healthcare provides self-funding solutions to employers with as few as 25
employees, the site content also includes more information about the advantages of self-funding.
Brokers and employers can learn how to offer a robust, affordable health care plan while
assuming more control over the plan’s design. An introductory guide to self-funding demo uses
flash technology to interactively present the information.
Packaged in an updated look and feel, the site contains comprehensive descriptions of the
carrier’s products and services. Enhanced technology powers the request-a-quote form, allowing
brokers to receive health plan information more quickly. Visitors can easily contact Great-West
Healthcare for information about the carrier’s four continuing education courses, which help
brokers keep their licenses in force. Additionally, the updated customer profiles section includes
success stories that detail how several companies have reduced their benefits costs.
“Our new site builds on the brand strength of the previous version and adds new interactive
features and improved navigation,” said Michelle Buckalew, assistant vice president of marketing
at Great-West Healthcare. “Brokers and employers can access a wealth of information, tools and
resources at the click of a mouse to make informed health care business decisions.”
