Life and Accident claims management
moves to Pittsburgh, PA
The Great-West Healthcare Life and Accident claims process, currently managed in the Denver field claims office, will move to CIGNA’s Pittsburgh-based Life Claims operation as of July 1, 2009.

Some updated claims-related forms will soon be available on the Great-West Healthcare employer portal. Updated administration manuals outlining the new process and procedures and containing all the new contact information for claims in Pittsburgh will also be available soon.

We do not anticipate any disruption to your service during this transition, and are confident that you will experience the same high-level customer service you are accustomed to, as well as the continued timely and accurate processing of claims. In fact, you and your employees may be offered enhanced services not currently available through Great-West Healthcare platforms.

Access to the CIGNAAssurance® Program for beneficiaries is included with the life and accident claims transitions. This program provides bereavement counseling; legal assistance; a guidebook to help beneficiaries navigate legal and financial responsibilities and more. Learn more about CIGNAAssurance®.
